We have the pleasure to announce the 3rd International Conference on Process Development in Iron and Steelmaking, SCANMET III, to be held in Luleå, Sweden.

SCANMET III will focus on research and development activities in steel production, covering all process steps from ironmaking to continuous casting. The purpose is to bring together engineers and scientists from iron and steel producers, research institutes, universities, and suppliers companies to share knowledge and exchange ideas. Major topics will be process development, optimisation and simulation of process systems.
